Tuesdays are for Laundry...and baking!

Hey everyone!
Thanks for stopping by. Today's adventures include laundry, baking, and getting minor groceries.
Now I don't know about you guys, but laundry is the bane of my existence. For several reasons! First off, it MUST be done. Otherwise, I can't go out and do things I actually want to do. And more importantly, if I don't, eventually I'll run out of clean towels and showering will be no fun! Another reason I dislike doing laundry is because right now I don't have a washer and dryer in my apartment, so I have to drive to a laundromat and spend about $10-$20 every time I do laundry. It's more of a pain in the ass than anything else. Some people will stay and supervise their laundry at the laundromat, but I'm generally pretty trusting so I drop it off and go about my day, stopping by to swap it into the dryer and then again to pick it up. So far, no one has bothered to mess with my clothes! It probably doesn't hurt that I live in Maine, where people seem to not bother things that aren't theirs. And lastly, I hate putting my clothes away! Shame on me, I know, I know! I'm working on it! (Speaking of, I should probably go get the basket of clothes out of my car!)

Ok, now at least the clothes are in the house! I'll put them away later on after I get some more cleaning out of the way. I did dishes earlier, but then made a batch of toffee cheesecake bars for Boyfriend and I. They were very simple to make! The toughest part was making the crust part, because I don't own a pastry cutter! I had to use a butter knife to cut a half cup of butter into over 2 cups of dry ingredients! However, with some patience it was done. It smells great and I'll let you all know how it was next time!

Lastly, I'm planning on making something I haven't had in looooonnnggg time for dinner tonight. I don't remember the last time I had it, but it was most likely at one of the many Pampered Chef parties my mum used to go to. It is....THE TACO RING!

That's right ladies and gents, it is tasty tasty taco meat, mixed with cheese, enveloped in crescent roll dough, and baked to flaky perfection. Perfect with salsa (homemade or store-bought) and sour cream!
